Ingredients
  

For the Stir-Fry
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups celery sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!
  3. Step 3: Add the sliced celery and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  4. Step 4: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Step 5: Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper, mixing well to combine.
  6. Step 6: Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through and let the flavors meld.
  7. Step 7: Serve hot over cooked rice and enjoy!

Notes

If you have any leftovers, let the stir-fry cool completely before placing it in an airtight container. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
