Ingredients

For the Blueberry Frozen Yogurt
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup to sweeten to your liking
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Equipment

  • Blender or Food Processor
  • Shallow Dish
  • Ice Cream Maker (optional)

Method

  1. Step 1: In a blender or food processor, combine the blueberries, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Step 2: Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Don’t worry if there are a few blueberry flecks; they add character!
  3. Step 3: Pour the mixture into a shallow dish. If you have an ice cream maker, feel free to use that instead.
  4. Step 4: If using a shallow dish, place it in the freezer for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until it reaches a creamy consistency.
  5. Step 5: If using an ice cream maker, churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it’s creamy.
  6. Step 6: Serve immediately for a soft-serve consistency, or store in an airtight container in the freezer for later.

Notes

Store your blueberry frozen yogurt in an airtight container in the freezer for about 2-3 weeks. If it gets hard, just let it sit out for a few minutes before scooping.
