- Step 4: In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, water, and sugar until combined. Pour this mixture over the beef.
- Step 5: Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and coat the beef.
- Step 6: Stir in the chopped shiso leaves and cook for an additional minute to let the flavors meld.
- Step 7: Serve the beef mixture over the warm cooked rice, making sure to drizzle some of that delicious sauce over the top.
- Step 8: Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for that perfect finishing touch.
